2014年に上演された「音から作る映画」シリーズ第一作『映画としての音楽』を大幅に改定、英語ネイティブのパフォーマーを加えたインターナショナル版の世界初演。19世紀末にパリで生まれた映画と上演されなかった戯曲「サロメ」の奇妙な連関を字幕とボイスパフォーミングで語り起こす。
Music as Film (the first installment of Kei Shichiri’s Films Made of Sound series) was first performed in 2014. The work returns in a radically updated international version, complete with native English-speaking performers. Using both subtitles and voices, it conjures up the strange connection between cinema, which was born in Paris at the end of the 19th century, and a version of the play Salome that was never staged.
